Mavic Crossmax ST Disc Wheels ‘10

Light enough to climb, strong to fly back down.  The Mavic CrossmaxST is a no holds bar all mountain/XC wheel, with features that no otherwheelset can compete with.  The rim is constructed using Mavic’sproprietary Maxtal alloy, which is lighter and stronger than 6106alloy.  As with most wheels the rim uses a double wall design, but whatmakes these different is the fact that only the outer wall is drilledfor the spoke/nipple, the inner wall is left in tacked, completelysealed.  This makes installing a tubeless tire a snap, no more stripsor aftermarket kits to buy(depending on the application you may stillneed sealant).  Connecting the rim to the hub are over sized alloyspokes, but don’t confuse over sized with heavy.  These spokes areZicral, a highly resistant and lightweight aluminum alloy spoke.  Atthe hub Mavic’s QRM+ cartridge bearings, with double seals, roll fastand smooth.
